To my knowledge, I don’t believe there is any risk of people with alpha gal reacting to the vaccine. Alpha gal is an allergic response to an antigen on red meat. Nothing in this vaccine mimics that antigen. That being said, there is a warning to people who have reacted to vaccines in the past that they should be monitored for up to an hour after receiving the vaccine to make sure they don’t react. However, even those reactions are either self-limiting or treatable.
